Mosaic Workshop (16yrs and up)
Instructor: Jean Cernigoj

Make a table, stepping stone or bring something from home! You choose the project. Design, use of tools, setting, grouting and sealing are all covered. No experience necessary.


Pastel Painting (16yrs and up)
Instructor: Debbie Wardrope

This is a great class for beginners, intermediate and hobby artists. Basic instruction to new students given while advanced and/or repeat students choose subject of their choice with one-on-one attention.
 

Oil/Acrylic Painting (Adults)
Instructor: Charles White

On going adult painting class (oil or acrylic) with master painter Charles White guiding your process. Students work from images and register for 4 class sessions at a time.


Young Rembrandts (5-14yrs)
Instructor: Staff

The YR team offers a wide variety of drawing workshops for youth and teens. Classes rotate and change frequently. Subject matters covered include anime, vehicles, outer space, and more!
 

Young @ Art (5-11yrs)
Instructor: Visual Arts Coordinator and Debbie Wardrope

In conjuncion with the current exhibit, budding artists examine artwork, ask questions and learn about contemporary artwork.  After an informal tour of the gallery, children make their own masterpieces to take home! Program rotates three to four times per year, depending on exhibit. Registration is required. Small fee to cover materials.

Paint a Dog Sculpture Art WorkShop (5-11 yrs)

Free Children's Art workshop in the Art Gallery at the Village Theatre. Children will learn about the fun and beautiful Dogs of Danville Sculptures and then paint a small dog sculpture of their own. Space id limited and therefore you must register your child to participate. $15 Materials fee payable to instructor.

Art in the Park (18yrs & up)

Instructor: Debbie Wardrope

Come enjoy a beautiful summer day out in the park with paints and a picnic. We will teach you how to transfer the natural beauty around you on to the canvas in this plein air-painting workshop. no experience necessary. box lunch and canvas will be provided. Bring your own paints paint brushes and easels.
